these guys are the best thing i have ever heard. i remember the first time i heard them and this was when i was listening to rock and punk. (yeah i had a punk phase.)
i heard them and was instantly turned onto hip hop...not rap. i went out and bought all their cd's and digital merch i could find on them...but ..sadlyt it was all stolen..
but these dudes are real lyrical which is what hip hop is really all about. though i will say, i followed them since they were just getting big in Canada..and then Moka Only joined the group...i stopped following them because i felt they became whack after Moka Only. but from what i hear Mad Child (my favorite member of Swollen) is releasing a Solo Album in 2008! yesss!
just a couple of my favorite tracks are
"kiling spree" which is the sickest by far
"ventilate" in this one they're going off on each other!
"lady venom" such a sick and different beat
"breathe" with nelly furtado!
"bring it home" with whack ass Moka Only

let me set the record straight.
there has been a few "comments" about this shirt that it looks like a Temple Effectives shirt.
not the fact that Lil Wayne is on it..but the fact that a RAPPER is on a shirt..that must mean i'm stealing an idea? comparing me to another major company is actually a compliment...but..

THEY DID NOT INVENT THE IDEA OF RAPPERS ON A SHIRT..
though i will give up respect where respect is due..Temple Effectives are very sick...and i've been preaching about them before many of you knew who they were. (before the "blood money" sweatshirt.)

and that's the problem with some people these days...most of them can't appreciate work. they always have to compare...and i'm not saying that it's hard work...but it's still artwork...but i'm saying people always have to compare...like
"oh his work looks like The Hundreds."
and
"oh his work looks like FMS and Rogue Status."

i would never take an idea from another company and flip it to make it my own..let's get that shit straight. i can't speak for other companies...but i know what i'm doing with my business..and one of those things includes NOT STEALING IDEAS FROM OTHER COMPANIES. but don't get me wrong, this is in no way..shape...or form..me being cocky. i'm not trying to be and i apologize if i am...but this is really frustrating. even if it was a comment that wasn't meant to be blown out of proportion like i am doing right now...it's still something that needs to be adressed before people slowly start thinking, "well fuck that guy is just getting ideas off of other companies! he sucks!"

i personally do think that i am not the best at what i do and i personally don't think i'm any good at what i do. sure i'm humble and i know i have a lot of work to do to even BE considered a good artist.
so, with this being said..all of you who think i am a big joke...and that what i do is a joke..then don't visit my page. simply put.
you don't like a TV show...do you sit there and watch it and talk shit about it?
or do you flip the channel and watch something else?
i'm only doing what i love to do regardless of what anybody says. i'm me and nobody else...and we shouldn't be comparing artists to other artists...we're doing what we love to do.

these were some old pictures from about a month ago...but i was stuck inside..and they turned the lights on. I JUST TOLD MY FRIEND before the ride started that i've heard the ride has broke and people have been inside with the lights on.

Boom, the coaster turns off...lights go on afterwards.

maybe most of you know i'm a gamer.
i used to play all the old school systems along with the most current ones.
AND yes...i used to play Starcraft and CounterStrike..
well yesterday...i had the chance to pick up this game..and i must say this is just simply...a bad ass game. there's so much interaction in this game...it's unbelievable.
and the graphics are INSANE...especially because i have the HDMI cable for PS3.
i recommend this game...but of course...
nothing better than GTA 4.

who would have known i can actually play soccer?
i was invited to play today with a couple friends, and i just figured it would be "messing around" soccer.
oh no..
it was teams of 4 or 5 play 8 minute rounds.
i was there atleast 3 hours in the mid-day southern california heat.
i have never been so sweaty and out of breath before.
it's actually really competitive...and i will be the first to admit that i fell on my ass at least 10 times.
and i played on a team with girls...the only guy on the team.
i'm just surprised i still got it.....somewhat..
overall..my feet are KILLING ME and i didn't do that bad.
and you just might be seeing more posts about soccer.
